ROLE SUMMARY:
King's College Soto de Viñuelas is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified PE Teacher to join our successful secondary team on a permanent basis from late August 2026.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE lessons across the secondary phase, including GCSE and A Level. They will inspire students to achieve their potential both academically and personally, while contributing positively to the wider life of the school. The ability to teach an additional secondary subject such as Geography, Science, or History would be highly advantageous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach PE across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A Level
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons
- Monitor and support student progress and achievement
- Contribute to extracurricular sports and wider school activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental development
- Teach an additional secondary subject where required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Relevant teaching qualification and recognised degree
- Experience teaching PE at GCSE and A Level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- Ability to teach an additional subject such as Geography, Science, or History
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to student wellbeing and achievement
