ROLE SUMMARY:
Reddam House Berkshire is a co-educational, independent school, housed in a Victorian mansion and set in 125 acres of wood and parkland.

We have 800+ students between the ages of 3 months and 18 years are registered here (day students and boarders from age 11+). Children are recognised as individuals with unique skills to celebrate and given tailored support and guidance at Teaching Role each stage of their school career. Our structure of Early Learning School, Junior School, Middle School and Senior School means that every year group works with professionals who specialize and enjoy working with the students in their care.

We currently have a vacancy for a Data/Exams Officer commencing February '26 - term time only (including INSET/Open days) plus 4 weeks.
Reporting to the Head of Academics, the post holder will lead on the maintenance and management of the School’s Management Information Systems (MIS), such as iSAMS and Connect, overseeing the collection and handling of student data, and reporting process to ensure parents receive effective and timely progress details about their child.
This role has the responsibility for the co-ordination of all activities related to both internal and external examinations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data
Working with the Heads of Academics, manage and be accountable for the use of the school MIS to support student data, to include classes, timetable, extra-curricular activities, end of term and end of academic year processing;
Support teaching staff in the timely production and distribution of academic reports, to include termly objectives and course outlines;
Support parent and student access to the MIS, through the parent and student portals.
Lead on the management of the iSAMS exam package, importing base data from the various awarding bodies
Exams
To be familiar with all regulations laid out in the JCQ rulebooks on the conduct of exams, coursework and controlled assessment, access arrangement, malpractice and general regulations, and ensure that these are shared and disseminated to staff, students and parents;
To develop and monitor policies and procedures to ensure that the school abides by all JCQ regulations;
To liaise with awarding bodies on all aspects of examinations;
To liaise with SENCo on a regular basis to ensure that access arrangements deadlines are being met, procedures followed and sufficient resources available for approved students;
To collate exam entries and to submit these entries by the deadline, ensuring that these are checked;
To collate a summer public exams timetable for the school and inform staff, students and parents as appropriate.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Proven experience of data management/exam coordination
Excellent organisational and IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
Previous experience of working in education would be desirable.
Strong organisation skills.
Ability to work under pressure to deadlines expecially during exam/reporting periods.
