Centro Educacional Leonardo da Vinci is a private school located in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, a mid-sized coastal city a few hours north of Rio de Janeiro. Following a strong tradition of excellence in foreign language education, we offer bilingual preschool/kindergarten/first-grade program inaugurated in February 2006. We are seeking a native English-speaking teacher with substantial experience & a university-level degree in the field of education as well as the initiative to contribute to the position.
This position is for 2025.
The salary will be based on the institution's salary scale, which is highly competitive in the Brazilian market—right now at R$7.500,00 (Brazilian currency) after taxes. Review of applications begins immediately & will continue until the position is filled.
The teacher will work with an aide from 7:15 am to 5:15 pm, from Monday to Friday, with 2 different groups of 16 to 24 children each. Friday afternoons are usually free, except for meetings or parent/teacher conferences scheduled throughout the year. It's important that the teacher gradually starts to learn Portuguese to understand the children's needs, but has to use exclusively the English language in classroom.

REQUIREMENTS
- Two years of proven experience with a bachelors degree or one year of proven experience with a Master degree;
- And everybody will need 2 letters of reccomendation.
