KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting and Student Applications
  • Planning and Coordinator function
  • Other administrative duties: 
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records for each student’s university counselling journey.
    • Use relevant platforms (e.g., Unifrog) to track and manage university application processes.
    • Transitions Students from a graduate to an alumni using Unifrog to maintain connection.
    • Develop annual reports and provide feedback for future planning and improvement of university counselling services.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Counselling/Education/Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) and Teaching Certification in Counselling/Education/Psychology.
  • Professional training or certification in university counselling or college advising is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in university counselling, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with IB, IGCSE or other international curricula.
  • Experience in program development or strategic planning is a strong asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of global university admissions processes, trends, and requirements.
  • Empathy, patience, and a student-centered approach to counselling.
  • Proficiency in relevant digital tools and platforms, including Unifrog.
