ROLE SUMMARY:

ACG Remuera ELS is purpose-built and located at the heart of the Remuera community. The team is forward-focused, innovative and passionate about delivering quality education and care. Our preschool Centre is tailored to provide an excellent learning environment for children aged 3 months to 6 years old. We require a enthusiastic qualified and NZ registered ECE Team Leader to join our Reggio inspired Centre on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will lead the team in the day to day running of the room under the Centre Manager. You will have sound knowledge of an infant room and how they run and will get extra non contact time. The position is due to start in January 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To teach effectively
To complete administrative tasks efficiently
To set standards and assist children as required
To oversee the needs of the children

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Be a qualified teacher with a current teachers registration
Ideally have experience in working in early learning
Have a real passion for exploration, creative learning, and fun
Be able to communicate confidently and effectively with kaiako, tamariko, and whanau.
