ROLE SUMMARY:
As a diverse and inclusive international school, we educate 350 students from 37 nationalities, aged 2 to 18, who attend the Pre-Nursery division to Sixth Form.

We are looking for a passionate music teacher that will not only teach students how to play an instrument or read sheet music, but also help them develop a love and appreciation for music. An Inspired music teacher will create a positive and encouraging learning environment, and tailor their teaching methods to suit the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
At Kings, a music teachers will also assist their students with auditions, performance preparation, and provide guidance on career paths in the music industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching choir, band, orchestra, or a combination of all.
- Working with students on plays, concerts, and other events that include music.
- Assigning practice and other music-related homework and test students on their knowledge.
- Keeping grades, meeting with parents, and sharing progress reports.
- Developing and maintaining an effective music educational program for students.
- Teaching people instrumental techniques, scales, sight reading, and music theory.
- Helping students prepare for music examinations, auditions, and live performances.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Music Education
- Teaching License
- Teaching Experience
- International Teaching Experience preferred.
