ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas, in Madrid, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Mathematics for a late August 2025 start date.  We are looking for a skilled educator to continue delivering excellence in Mathematics across key stages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Teach Mathematics to students across a range of key stages, with a focus on IGCSE.

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.

  • Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations and assessments.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics department and curriculum.

  • Provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.

  • Engage in school life, including co-curricular and enrichment activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).

  • Experience teaching Mathematics at IGCSE level is essential.

  • The ability to teach IB Standard and Higher Level and/or A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics is highly desirable.

  • A strong understanding of international curricula and academic expectations.

  • A collaborative and forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning.

  • A passion for developing students’ confidence and skills in Mathematics.
