ROLE SUMMARY:

Located in Bay of Plenty, ACG Tauranga offers an exceptional education to children at preschool, primary and secondary levels. Our teachers benefit from a highly-resourced, modern teaching environment and our students are motivated and engaged.

An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join our preschool. We require a qualified and registered (Dip ECE or NZQA-approved equivalent) preschool teacher who is experienced in the development and delivery of quality early childhood education. The successful applicant will have a natural affinity with children and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community.

We have a team of fully qualified and registered teachers who provide high-quality care and learning experiences for our children. We offer exceptional teaching and traditional values. We are committed to providing individualised care to each of out students and this is what sets us apart.

We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered ECE Teacher to join our ACG Tauranga Centre on a fixed term, full-time basis. The position is a 1 year parental leave cover and is due to start in August 2025. We offer full pay parity at our Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach early childhood learning, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities of the children.
Develop excellent relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
Play based learning environment with a focus on transition to school.
Participate in wider school activities.
Ensure children's welfare and safety in every moment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in children and parents.
Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
