This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced NZ Registered ECE Teacher to join our ACG Tauranga Centre on a fixed term, full-time basis. The position is a 1 year parental leave cover with an immediate start. We offer full pay parity at our Centre. 

 

As a qualified and registered (Dip ECE or NZQA-approved equivalent) preschool teacher, you will have experience in the development and delivery of quality early childhood education; demonstrate a natural affinity with children and the ability to communicate effectively - with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community. 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach early childhood learning, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment
  • Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities of the children
  • Develop excellent relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
  • Play based learning environment with a focus on transition to school
  • Participate in wider school activities
  • Ensure children's welfare and safety in every moment.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA)
  • Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in children and parents
  • Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
