Our purpose-built Early Learning School is looking for a Centre Administrator to join the team. Join our Centre for a permanent, part-time 3 Days per week - 16 hours split over Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reception & Customer Service:  Serve as the first point of contact for families and visitors, managing enquiries and delivering a professional, welcoming experience throughout the enrolment journey.
  • Enrolment Administration:  Coordinate enrolments and maintain accurate records in line with Ministry of Education requirements.
  • Attendance & Rostering:  Manage staff rosters, attendance records, absence monitoring, and reporting to support funding and operational needs.
  • Funding & Compliance:  Prepare funding submissions and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory standards.
  • Finance Administration: Manage fee invoicing, debtor follow-up, and general financial administration for the centre.
  • Operations & Administration Support:  Coordinate supplies, training records, and administrative support to ensure smooth centre operations.
  • General Responsibilities:  Maintain confidentiality, build positive relationships, and contribute to a welcoming, organised, and high-performing centre environment.
 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Skills and Experience

  • 2–4+ years’ experience in administration, reception or early learning/education settings
  • Strong front-of-house customer service and stakeholder engagement skill
  • Experience managing enrolments and family enquiries
  • High-level administrative accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident using CMS platforms (e.g. Xplor, Qikkids) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to compliance, funding or regulated environments
  • Basic finance experience (invoicing, debtors, reporting) desirable
