ROLE SUMMARY:
ACG Tauranga is a leading independent, co-educational school in Pyes Pa, Tauranga, offering the Cambridge Curriculum for students from Years 0-13. As part of Inspired Education's global network of premium schools, we are committed to academic excellence, innovation, and student success.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Art Teacher with experience teaching either New Zealand or an international curriculum, such as Cambridge International or IB. The successful candidate can be a a Primary or Secondary Art teacher with visual arts experience, with a focus on fostering creativity and artistic confidence within a thriving school community.
The successful applicant will enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, have experience in teaching visual arts and be willing to contribute and embrace the life of our school. The position will commence in January 2027. This is a permanent, part time (0.5) position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons that promote creativity, achievement, and a love of learning.
- Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support growth.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning programmes.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities, school events, and the wider school community while ensuring student wellbeing and safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues, share best practice, and engage in ongoing professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
- New Zealand Teacher Registration
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Undertake a New Zealand police check prior to commencing the position
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining New Zealand teaching accreditation.
