The Operations Administrator at Reddam Early Learning School plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations across various facets of the school. Located at out St Leonards Early Learning School , this role provides administrative support to the Principal, Enrolment Officer, and Compliance Manager, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the school’s operations and fostering a collaborative, well-organised environment.  This is a permanent part time position (3 days per week) - days of employment will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative Support:

  • Coordinate weekly meetings with the Principal to manage upcoming deadlines.
  • Proofread and prepare reports, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Print portfolios, flyers, and posters as required.

Procurement and Supplies Management:

  • Order non-educational resources from suppliers such as Nappy Land, Officeworks, and IKEA.
  • Liaise with the uniform shop for orders and deliveries.

Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Maintain and update the whole school calendar.
  • Oversee staff rosters, including distributing the weekly spreadsheet for casual availability.

Stakeholder Liaison:

  • Communicate with the maintenance team to address facility needs.
  • Coordinate with the cleaning company to ensure high standards of hygiene.
  • Liaise with external providers, including catering, Speech Therapists and Inclusion Support.
  • Work with the Education Leader to facilitate incursions and educational events.

Event Coordination:

  • Organise school events and collaborate with the marketing team as needed.
  • Financial and Operational Tasks:
  • Assist with family billing processes on Mondays.
  • Manage mail collection and post office errands.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to manage deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail in proofreading, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably within an educational setting, is highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant experience in administration or operations support.
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or the ability to obtain one.
