As a permanent educator, you’ll work alongside passionate colleagues to deliver meaningful learning experiences that foster independence, creativity, and a love of discovery. You’ll support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based and child-led learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Room Leaders to implement an innovative, inquiry-driven curriculum.
  • Observe and document children’s development to support personalised learning.
  • Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that promote exploration.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey.
  • Work as part of a reflective, inclusive team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute fresh ideas.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Strong understanding of child-led and inquiry-based learning methodologies, with a commitment to the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
  • Experience in early childhood education, with a demonstrated passion for supporting young children’s development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, children, and families.
  • Adaptability and openness to continuous professional development, staying updated on best practices in early childhood education.
  • Ability to contribute to team planning and work collaboratively to create a positive, inclusive environment.

YOU'LL HAVE:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be actively working towards it).
  • ACECQA-approved qualifications.
  • A valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
  • Strong understanding of inquiry-based and child-led learning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
