ROLE SUMMARY:
The Early Childhood Educator at Reddam ELS plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional early learning experiences for children aged 1-5 years, with a holistic focus on emotional, social, and cognitive development. In alignment with the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the educator will nurture curiosity, independence, and a love for learning, while forming collaborative relationships with families to foster a community of trust and respect.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Room Leader in delivering an engaging, inquiry-based program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, catering to the developmental needs of children aged 1-5 years.

Maintain comprehensive and ongoing documentation of each child’s development, using reflective practices to inform planning and individualised support.

Conduct observations, assessments, and plan for a small group of children, ensuring their holistic development.

Curate stimulating and developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor learning environments that inspire curiosity and creativity.

Foster meaningful, respectful partnerships with families, providing regular updates and involving them in their child’s learning journey.

Collaborate with the broader team to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning culture, contributing to team planning and professional growth.

Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that meets both regulatory requirements and Reddam House’s high standards of care and safety.
