ROLE SUMMARY:

Reddam House is an independent, co-educational, and non-denominational school in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. We foster a unique learning environment where every student is valued as an individual in the pursuit of academic excellence. Our Music Department is a vibrant and integral part of school life, featuring a compulsory instrumental program from Year 2 to Year 7, as well as an extensive co-curricular instrumental and choral program from Kindergarten to Year 12. With a rich calendar of concerts and events, our students are provided with exceptional opportunities to develop their musical talents.

We are currently seeking an experienced Clarinet Teacher to join our dynamic Music Department on a casual basis - 3 full days a week. This role involves delivering high-quality individual clarinet tuition to students of varying ages and abilities. While classroom teaching qualifications are not required, candidates should be passionate about nurturing musical talent and fostering a love for music.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide engaging and high-quality individual clarinet lessons to students.
Tailor instruction to suit a range of skill levels and learning styles.
Prepare students for performances, exams, and school events as required.
Work collaboratively with the Music Department to support students' musical development.
Assist with ensemble rehearsals and performances. (Desirable)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Proven excellence in delivering individual clarinet tuition.
Experience working with children in an educational or ensemble setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic and committed to fostering musical growth in students.
