Support Teacher in Kindergarten (Six weeks, from Jan 2026)

ROLE SUMMARY:

Australian International School (AIS) Saigon, a renowned international, co-educational K-13 school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, has been educating young men and women for more than 16 years. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support high-quality learning in a nurturing and challenging environment.
  • Collaborate with the Principal, Deputy Principal, PYP Coordinator, and teaching staff.
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging, inquiry-based programs.
  • Teach small groups or classes as needed.
  • Support individual students to enhance learning and development.
  • Complete support teaching and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Perform other school duties as directed by the Principal or classroom teacher.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification is preferred.
  • Relevant experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) is an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • A demonstrated passion for working with children, fostering their learning, social development, and confidence.
  • Willingness to collaborate as part of a positive, supportive team to contribute to the school’s mission and goals
