Student Support Teacher (AY 2026-2027)

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Student Support Teacher provides individualized academic, social, and emotional support to a designated student, helping them successfully access the curriculum and participate in school life. Working closely with teachers, parents, and the wider education team, the role focuses on fostering student independence, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and creating an inclusive learning environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group learning support.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Support student wellbeing, behaviour, and participation in school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff.
• Track student progress and maintain relevant records.
• Assist with communication and translation when required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Qualification in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience working with children, preferably with additional learning needs.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Patient, caring, and committed to inclusive education.
• Good English and Vietnamese communication skills preferred.
