ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PYP Teacher to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will inspire young learners through inquiry-based teaching, fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning consistent with the IB Primary Years Programme philosophy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP framework.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and growth.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across grade levels and subject areas.
Engage parents and the wider school community in the learning process.
Participate in ongoing professional development to deepen understanding of IB philosophy and best practice.
Contribute to school life beyond the classroom through events, clubs, and initiatives.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
A bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area.
Previous experience teaching within the IB PYP (or strong alignment with inquiry-based learning).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative, flexible, and internationally minded approach.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and contributing positively to a dynamic school community.
