ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced MYP Maths Teacher to join our collaborative secondary team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme, helping students develop conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence as learners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver innovative mathematics lessons within the IB MYP framework.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and resilience.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Assess student learning using IB criteria and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and curriculum development.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and community initiatives.
Engage in professional learning to further develop IB pedagogy and subject expertise.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
Experience teaching Mathematics within the IB MYP (or strong familiarity with inquiry-based and concept-driven learning).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A reflective, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching.
Commitment to supporting the holistic development of students within an international setting.
