We are seeking an exceptional Primary Science Teacher with a passion for inspiring curiosity and a love of scientific discovery. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, hands-on science lessons that encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and problem-solving while creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for primary-aged students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based Science lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
  • Foster curiosity and enthusiasm for science through practical investigations, experiments, and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
  • Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Promote scientific literacy, environmental awareness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities and enrich the curriculum.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support student success.
  • Participate actively in school events, professional development, and the wider life of the school.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Primary Education, Science Education, or a related field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching Science at the primary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of inquiry-based and student-centred teaching methodologies.
  • The ability to inspire curiosity and develop students' scientific thinking through engaging, hands-on lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience integrating technology into teaching and learning.
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Fluency in English; experience in bilingual or international school settings is an advantage.
  • A genuine passion for nurturing confident, curious, and lifelong learners.
