ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Middle School and High School Psychopedagogist to join our Student Support team. This role will provide comprehensive psychopedagogical support to students, working closely with teachers, school leaders, families, and external specialists to identify individual needs and implement effective strategies that promote student wellbeing, inclusion, and academic success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct psychopedagogical assessments to identify learning, attention, behavioural, academic, and school-adjustment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention and follow-up plans to support students' academic and personal development.
- Monitor students experiencing low academic performance, absenteeism, adaptation difficulties, or other factors that may place them at academic risk.
- Coordinate reasonable adjustments, accommodations, and educational support, referring students to external specialists when necessary.
- Provide individual guidance to students on emotional regulation, school adaptation, study habits, organization, and academic skills.
- Develop and participate in preventive initiatives focused on emotional wellbeing, positive school culture, and socio-emotional development.
- Support High School students with vocational and career guidance, including university and career exploration.
- Advise teachers on inclusive practices, differentiation, and strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain regular communication with families, providing guidance and updates regarding student progress, needs, and recommended support strategies.
- Collaborate closely with school leadership, teachers, coordinators, families, and external specialists while maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychopedagogy, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Pedagogy, or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Psychopedagogy, Inclusive Education, Educational Guidance, or a related area is desirable.
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably working with Middle School and/or High School students.
- Experience conducting psychopedagogical assessments and identifying learning and educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of adolescent development and the academic, emotional, and social challenges associated with this stage.
- Experience developing individualized intervention and student support plans.
- Knowledge of inclusive education, learning differences, reasonable accommodations, and differentiated support strategies.
- Experience working collaboratively with teachers and families.
- Experience conducting student and parent interviews and preparing professional reports.
- Knowledge or experience in vocational and career guidance, particularly with High School students.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, active listening, and assertive communication.
- Excellent organization, follow-up, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive student information with a high level of confidentiality and professional ethics.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and student-centered approach.
- English proficiency and the ability to work effectively within a bilingual/international school environment.
