ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and service-oriented Elementary School Assistant to support the daily operations of our Elementary School. This role will work closely with the Elementary School Director, teachers, families, and other school departments to ensure the smooth coordination of administrative processes, communication, events, and student-related activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and organizational support to the Elementary School Director and wider Elementary team.
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, reminders, and communications with parents and other members of the school community.
- Respond to parent questions and requests in a professional and timely manner, escalating matters to the Elementary School Director when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and organized physical and digital student records, including documentation for new students and admissions-related information.
- Manage and update information within the school's communication and administrative platforms, including student groups, schedules, calendars, and official communications.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute documents, reports, meeting materials, and communications for families and staff.
- Coordinate the administrative and logistical aspects of Elementary School events and activities, including suppliers, materials, payments, and follow-up.
- Support student arrival, dismissal, recreational activities, and other school duties, helping ensure student safety and wellbeing.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, Psychopedagogy, Reception, Operations, Administration, and other school departments, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- High School diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Administration or a related field is desirable.
- At least 1 year of experience in an administrative assistant or similar support role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills when communicating with parents, students, teachers, and external providers.
- A proactive, reliable, discreet, and collaborative approach to work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and confidential records and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace/Google Drive, with the ability to learn school management platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- A professional and ethical approach, with a positive attitude and willingness to support different activities across the Elementary School as needed.
