ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School Latvia, part of the prestigious Inspired Education Group, is seeking a passionate and innovative Primary Teacher to join our exceptional team. This role involves delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and holistic development in our students. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and tailored to meet the needs of an international student body.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
- Develop innovative teaching materials and strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects to enhance the curriculum and encourage holistic learning.
- Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor and support student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Actively engage in school life, participating in extracurricular activities, community events, and school initiatives.
- Support students’ emotional and social development by promoting positive behavior and a sense of belonging.
- Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and share best practices within the Primary team.
- Stay up-to-date with educational research and participate in professional development opportunities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A degree in Primary Education or an equivalent teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
- Proven experience teaching at the Primary level, with a track record of fostering student success.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with a focus on inclusivity and collaboration.
- A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic international environment.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance the learning experience.
- A passion for holistic education, including the development of students’ academic, emotional, and social skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school’s wider community.
- A positive, flexible mindset and a desire to inspire and empower young learners.
