ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School Latvia, part of the prestigious Inspired Education Group, is looking for an exceptional English Teacher. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across IGCSE and IBDP levels, ensuring students achieve their academic potential.
• Foster creativity and critical thinking by integrating literature and language across the curriculum.
• Track, evaluate, and report on student progress, ensuring timely feedback and targeted interventions.
• Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as literary clubs, debates, and writing competitions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
• Contribute to the broader school community by supporting events, workshops, and parent engagement activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A degree in English or a related subject, along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Proven experience teaching English at IGCSE and IBDP levels, with a track record of excellent student outcomes.
• A passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire this enthusiasm in students.
• A commitment to promoting creativity, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity.
• Confidence in integrating technology into lessons to create interactive and dynamic learning experiences.
• A collaborative approach, with a willingness to contribute to the school’s culture of innovation and academic excellence.
