ROLE SUMMARY:

Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR) is a vibrant school offering a premium British-style and Moroccan education to both expatriate and local students in Morocco. KGSR is a community school with a strong and growing reputation thanks to its pedagogical approach, progressive approach and holistic education philosophy. The school is seeking a pioneering practitioner who is passionate about their subject and wishes to broaden their own experience within an innovative, friendly and collaborative environment.

The Sciences Teacher will teach the Cambridge curriculum. This position would suit someone with experience in a sciences Teacher position, who is seeking further development and exposure to International Schooling.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Proven experience as a Sciences Teacher
Qualified Teacher Status with a minimum of 3 year’s post-qualification teaching experience
Experience delivering the British curriculum
Confidence in the use of ICT in teaching
High expectations and aspirations for all students
A commitment to the overall development of young people
An open-minded approach to their work, are willing to learn and develop
A demonstrable love for what they do and a proven track record
Previous teaching experience in a high-performing international school is an advantage.
