ROLE SUMMARY:
Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR) is a vibrant school offering a premium British-style and Moroccan education to both expatriate and local students in Morocco. KGSR is a community school with a strong and growing reputation thanks to its pedagogical approach, progressive approach and holistic education philosophy.
The School Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while handling front desk operations, answering phone calls, managing school communications, and supporting administrative functions to ensure the efficient operation of the school office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet visitors, parents, students, and staff warmly and professionally.

Answer and route phone calls and emails in a timely and courteous manner.

Maintain visitor logs and issue passes according to school security procedures.

Handle student attendance records and late arrivals.

Support the enrollment process and distribute registration materials.

Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.

Maintain the reception area and ensure it is clean and organized.

Provide assistance during emergencies and follow school safety protocols.

Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the school administrator.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional administrative training is a plus.

Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a school setting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and school database systems.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
