ROLE SUMMARY:

Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR) is a vibrant and community-oriented institution offering premium British-style and Moroccan education to both local and expatriate students. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Physics Teacher to inspire and support students in developing a strong understanding of physics and a passion for scientific inquiry. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality physics lessons aligned with the curriculum, encouraging students to explore scientific concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and apply theoretical knowledge through practical experiments.

The ideal candidate will create an engaging, supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking, while maintaining high standards of discipline and safeguarding. The post holder will also assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each student’s academic and personal development.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate physics lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
  • Introduce students to key physics concepts, theories, and practical applications through demonstrations, experiments, and interactive activities.
  • Foster scientific curiosity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each student achieve their potential.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring proper use and care of laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Encourage students to participate in science-related projects, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, staff, and parents to support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Participate in school meetings, events, and ongoing professional development to stay current with best teaching practices.
