ROLE SUMMARY:
Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR) is a vibrant and community-oriented institution offering premium British-style and Moroccan education to both local and expatriate students. We are currently seeking a Geography Teacher to inspire and engage students in exploring the physical and human world around them. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the UK curriculum, using innovative and interactive teaching methods to foster curiosity, global awareness, and a deeper understanding of geographical issues.
The ideal candidate will create a dynamic and supportive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, discussion, and inquiry-based learning. They will maintain high standards of discipline and safeguarding, and will be responsible for planning, assessing, and reporting on student progress. The post holder will support each student in reaching their full potential, while nurturing a lifelong interest in geography and the world we live in.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the UK curriculum.

Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a global perspective among students of all abilities.

Assess, record, and report on students’ progress in accordance with school policies.

Maintain high standards of classroom management, discipline, and safeguarding.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and cross-curricular initiatives.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic performance and well-being.

Support school events, extracurricular activities, and pastoral responsibilities as required.

Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to strengthen subject knowledge and teaching practice.
