ROLE SUMMARY:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Curriculum Delivery & Pedagogy
- Deliver inclusive and engaging P.E. lessons across Primary to Secondary, covering a broad sports programme.
- Adapt teaching to meet Cambridge International and Moroccan curriculum standards while promoting physical literacy and healthy habits.
2. Extracurricular & Whole-School Impact
- Lead sports clubs, coach teams, and organise competitions and school-wide events.
- Ensure safe management and maintenance of all P.E. equipment and facilities.
3. Assessment & Reporting
- Track student progress and fitness through regular assessments and exam preparation.
- Provide clear feedback and communicate student performance effectively to parents and students.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in French or Arabic is highly beneficial given the school's bilingual environment.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a closely related field. A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience delivering P.E. in a school environment, ideally with exposure to both Primary and Secondary age groups.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the Cambridge International framework. Understanding of the Moroccan National system is a distinct advantage.
