ROLE SUMMARY:
Based in beautiful Queenstown we have two early learning centres designed and purpose built to provide beautiful indoor and outdoor areas, with numerous resources available for children as they explore and investigate the world around them. As part of the broader inspired group of over 121 schools internationally, ACG Queenstown is a Reggio and RIE inspired centre offering a great environment for children and Teachers alike.
Close to ski-resorts and picturesque scenery Queenstown offers a lifestyle and a range of outdoor activities that are second to none. You will need to be calm, respectful, motivated, passionate and be able to work as part of the team. You will be teaching in a lovely environment and with an amazing team of teachers. We are looking for an Unqualified Teacher for a part-time parental leave cover for 30 hours per week, the role commences in August and finishes in late March.

- Be aware of being a reflective participant in focussing on enhancing children’s learning.
- Where applicable, use a wide range of teaching strategies to promote, equity, excellence and value cultural diversity.
- Be aware of intentional teaching to respond and engage with all learners.
- Be aware of critical enquiry and problem solving to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and outcomes for all learners.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Experience in a similar role (preferred).
- A high level of analytical skills, systems/data analysis and a strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong ethical and moral values.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
