ROLE SUMMARY:

ACG Queenstown is seeking a permanent, full-time Uncertified ECE Teacher to join our early learning team. We have 2 early learning schools in Queenstown, and our approach is deeply rooted in the RIE and Reggio Emilia philosophies, which places children at the centre of their learning journey. By encouraging exploration, curiosity, and collaboration, we empower children to take an active role in their education. Teachers, families, and children work together to create a rich, inquiry-based learning environment that extends beyond the classroom.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with young children.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be aware of being a reflective participant in focussing on enhancing children's learning.
Where applicable, use a wide range of teaching strategies to promote, equity, excellence and value cultural diversity.
Be aware of intentional teaching to respond and engage with all learners.
Be aware of critical enquiry and problem solving to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and outcomes for all learners.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Flexible and reliable
Committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic
Strong team players with good communication skills
Willing to learn and engage with RIE, Reggio, and Te Whāriki principles
Have experience working with children under 6 years old (preferably in New Zealand)
