ROLE SUMMARY:
We are a RIE and Reggio-inspired Centre with a passion for providing quality early childhood education for children aged between 3 months and 6 years old. Our teachers work in dedicated spaces for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers and believe in a warm, calm, and nurturing approach to education. Our teaching team is passionate, professional, and experienced. As an Uncertified Teacher, you will have the ability to engage with our students and support our qualified teachers from day one. You will be involved in planning, daily activities, and supporting the team to deliver quality learning opportunities to our students. Our teachers develop lasting relationships with students! ACG Queenstown is looking for a Uncertified Teacher to join us for a permanent, part-time (30 hours per week) position, more hours may be available if negotiated with the Centre Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be aware of being a reflective participant in focussing on enhancing children’s learning.
- Where applicable, use a wide range of teaching strategies to promote, equity, excellence and value cultural diversity.
- Be aware of intentional teaching to respond and engage with all learners.
- Be aware of critical enquiry and problem solving to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and outcomes for all learners.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Experience in working in an early childhood setting
- Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in children and parents.
- Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
