ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Preschool Teacher to join our Summer Camp team. The role involves designing and delivering fun, age-appropriate activities for children aged 4 to 7, both on-site and during off-site excursions. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and positive camp experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and lead educational and recreational activities for children aged 4 to 7
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all campers
- Use creative teaching methods to make learning fun
- Collaborate with camp staff on interdisciplinary activities (e.g. sports, STEAM, languages)
- Supervise children during on-site activities and off-site excursions
- Communicate with parents and participate in staff meetings and training
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- Excellent English skills (French skills is also an advantage)
- Experience working with children aged 4 to 7
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Passion for education and working with children
