ROLE SUMMARY:

 

Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR) is seeking to appoint an outstanding part-time ICT Teacher (Cambridge & Moroccan Programme) for August 2024.

 

Khalil Gibran School Rabat (KGSR) is a vibrant school offering a premium British-style and Moroccan education to both expatriate and local students in Morocco. KGSR is a community school with a strong and growing reputation thanks to its pedagogical approach, progressive approach and holistic education philosophy. Teaching and Learning at KGSR

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the Cambridge and/or Moroccan program, using innovative teaching methods to encourage student engagement.
  • Design practical experiments and interactive learning activities to reinforce understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help improve their science skills.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported in their scientific exploration.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to integrate science into integrated curricula and interdisciplinary projects.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

We are looking for an outstanding, energetic, inspirational teacher who is passionate about their students. Candidates must be team players and must be committed to achieving high levels of learning.

 

We are looking for reflective practitioners who have:     

  • Full disclosure or police clearance and is committed to the welfare of all children     
  • A degree and PGCE or B.Ed or the equivalent, with a minimum of two years post-qualification teaching experience. The degree must be in the subject taught or a closely related subject     
  • Experience delivering either UK National Curriculum or Cambridge Programme or Moroccan curriculum
  • Confidence in the use of ICT in teaching     
  • High expectations and aspirations for all students     
  • A commitment to the overall development of young people     
  • An open-minded approach to their work, are willing to learn and develop     
  • A demonstrable love for what they do and a proven track record

 

Previous teaching experience in a high-performing international school is an advantage.
