KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities that cater to individual student needs.
  • Promoting a safe and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and development.
  • Evaluating student progress and providing feedback to teachers to help adapt instructional methods.
  • Assisting in maintaining classroom behaviour management and discipline, ensuring a respectful atmosphere.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance your educational support skills.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a team-focused approach to student learning.
  • Participating in school events and activities, fostering strong relationships with the broader school community.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
  • Experience in an educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant or similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with children and colleagues alike.
  • A relevant qualification in education or child development would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and a flexible, proactive approach to your work.
