ROLE SUMMARY:

The Income Accountant is responsible for managing and reconciling all income-related transactions, ensuring accurate recording of revenue, timely invoicing, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role supports financial reporting by maintaining precise income records, investigating variances, and collaborating with admissions, finance, and operations teams to ensure income is correctly billed, collected, and reported.

The Income Accountant plays a key role in month-end and year-end closing processes, supports audits, and contributes to the continuous improvement of revenue processes and controls.

  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and deadline discipline
  • Analytical, autonomous, and able to prioritise with a strong sense of urgency
  • Clear, professional communicator with strong negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset
  • Resilient, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently
  • Timely responsiveness: emails within 24 hours; critical matters within 48 hours
  • Flexibility to travel between sites as business needs require

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

  • High level of English communication skills

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with databases

  • Hands-on experience in billing, collections, and process documentation

  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems; JD Edwards (JDE) experience is an advantage
