ROLE SUMMARY:

At Inspired the School Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the school, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial transactions. This role supports the school’s mission by maintaining sound financial practices, preparing reports for leadership, and ensuring timely processing of all income and expenses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Management & Accounting
Budgeting & Reporting
Student Billing & Collection
Compliance & Audits

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting (experience in a school or non-profit organization is an asset).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
