We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Business Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing a deep understanding of business concepts and fostering entrepreneurial and critical thinking skills in students. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Deliver Engaging Instruction: Teach Business Studies aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Business curricula, ensuring students understand core concepts through real-world applications.

  • Foster a Growth Mindset: Inspire students by setting ambitious learning goals and cultivating a passion for business, encouraging independent thinking and lifelong learning.

  • Differentiate Instruction: Adapt teaching strategies to address varying learning styles and levels of understanding, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.

  • Collaborate with Students: Work with students to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences, promoting active participation in lessons.

  • Utilize Assessments: Use both formative and summative assessments to track student progress, offering constructive feedback to guide their improvement.

  • Promote Critical Thinking: Encourage students to solve problems collaboratively and apply critical thinking to business scenarios.

  • Classroom Management: Create a respectful, inclusive classroom environment, establishing positive relationships with students while prioritizing their well-being.

  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the Business Studies curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and high-quality.

  • Integrate Technology: Utilize modern technology and digital tools to enhance student engagement and understanding of business principles.

  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional learning to stay current with educational advancements and innovations in the business world.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A relevant degree in Business or a related field, with international education experience preferred.
  • A valid teaching qualification and proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level.
  • A passion for education and business, demonstrated through dynamic, engaging teaching practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring effective lesson planning and classroom management.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, working well with peers to enhance student learning and curriculum development.
  • A commitment to student welfare, safeguarding practices, and fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in English, with a clear ability to deliver high-quality lessons in business concepts and applications.
