We are seeking an exceptional Head of Primary to lead our primary school with passion and vision, ensuring the highest standards of education for our students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Provide visionary leadership to the Primary School, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee curriculum design and delivery, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of our students and reflects global best practices.
  • Inspire and support staff to implement engaging, inclusive, and innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Promote a positive school culture that prioritizes student well-being, creativity, and resilience.
  • Develop strong partnerships with parents, staff, and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning, implementing strategies to drive academic achievement and personal growth.
  • Lead professional development initiatives for primary staff, supporting their growth and ensuring they remain at the forefront of educational practices.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and practices, maintaining the highest standards of student safety and welfare.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A degree in Education or a related field and a valid teaching qualification.
  • Significant leadership experience in a primary school setting, preferably in an international or premium school.
  • A proven track record of driving academic success and innovation in primary education.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach to leadership.
  • A passion for holistic education and a commitment to fostering the well-being of students and staff.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Portuguese is a strong advantage.
