ROLE SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons that foster creativity, self-expression, and artistic development.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and educational philosophy.
  • Differentiate teaching strategies to support students with diverse learning needs, abilities, and backgrounds.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment while effectively managing classroom resources.
  • Contribute to exhibitions, interdisciplinary projects, extracurricular activities, and school events that promote the arts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field, together with a recognized teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching Art, preferably within an international school environment.
  • Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Passion for arts education and a commitment to inspiring creativity and confidence in students.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Collaborative mindset, adaptability, and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
  • Experience with international curricula (IB experience is an advantage) and the use of innovative teaching practices.
