The School
Wetherby Pembridge is the latest demonstration of Inspired's commitment to academic excellence, curriculum rigour, premium co-curricular facilities, and the best support in accessing top universities worldwide. This co-educational senior school opened in Olympia, London in September 2025, providing students with access to Inspired’s global best practice in teaching and learning, as well as exchange and summer camp programmes, offering opportunities to broaden their horizons. Initially opening with Years 7–9, the school will expand to Years 7–13 in the coming years. The school builds on the academic success of Wetherby and Pembridge Hall Pre-Prep and Prep Schools, providing a premium academic senior pathway for students seeking an excellent London co-educational school. The Role
We are delighted to welcome applications from personable, energetic and suitably qualified individuals for the role of School Administrator and PA to the Deputy Heads. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Leadership Team in the development of a world-class school from the ground up. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a high-quality front-of-house experience, and will also play a key role in the administrative team supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the School. This role sits at the heart of the School’s operations in a busy, fast-paced environment. It requires first-class administrative and interpersonal skills, excellent judgement, a proactive approach, tact, discretion, initiative, strong organisation and flexibility, as well as the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing high-level PA support to the Deputy Heads, including confidential secretarial duties as required.
- Proactively managing the Deputy Heads’ diaries, resolving conflicts and ensuring an accurate and reliable schedule.
- Organising travel, bookings, correspondence and detailed itineraries for the Deputy Heads.
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience.
- Managing reception duties including handling enquiries, maintaining a welcoming environment, and updating school contact databases.
- Coordinating key school administration including SLT calendars, events, and associated administrative tasks.
- Supporting the organisation of parents’ meetings, school events, and wider whole-school activities.
- Acting as Attendance Officer, including monitoring daily attendance, following up absences, and maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting school operations including room bookings, transport arrangements, event logistics, and calendar management.
- Undertaking key safeguarding, health and safety responsibilities including First Aid coordination, fire warden duties, and supporting medication administration in line with policy.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A good standard of education, including a high standard of written English, and the right to work in the UK
- Some previous experience of working as a PA or secretary in an educational environment
- Experience of minute taking and producing agendas/minutes for meetings
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint), iSAMS, databases, email and internet
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft correspondence with fluency and accuracy
- Ability to proofread with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrable administrative, organisational/planning and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in respect of student and staff information, and to approach all confidential matters with discretion, sensitivity and diplomacy
- An understanding of and sympathy with the School’s values and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life
- Ability to relate to young people
- A high standard of personal presentation
