This exceptional co-educational senior school will open in Olympia, London in September 2025 and will enable students to gain access to Inspired’s global best practices in teaching and learning, as well as global exchange and summer camp programmes, providing students with even more opportunities to transform and broaden their horizons.

The school will build on the academic success and heritage of our Wetherby and Pembridge Hall Pre-Prep and Prep Schools. Wetherby Pembridge will provide a premium, academic senior school pathway for students who are looking for an academically excellent, London co-educational senior school.

The school will feature state-of-the-art learning environments with future-ready classrooms and labs, a library with an eight-floor glass atrium, professional-standard theatre facilities, STEAM Maker Spaces using the latest AI and VR technology, a vibrant Creative and Performing Arts programme and outstanding provision for sport both onsite and nearby.

 

We are delighted to welcome applications from outstanding, dynamic and suitably experienced individuals for the role of PA to the Headmaster and SLT. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to play a key role in supporting the work of the Founding Leadership Team in developing a world-class school from the ground up. The successful candidate will oversee the running of the Headmaster’s office and will provide professional and confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Headmaster and other members of the SLT. As the School grow, there is potential for the role to grow to include the supervision of other members of administrative staff.

The role of PA to the Headmaster and SLT offers the opportunity to play a vital role at the heart of the School’s operations, in a busy, fast-paced and energising environment. The role requires first-class administrative and secretarial skills, excellent judgement, a pro-active approach, high levels of tact, discretion, initiative, personal organisation and flexibility, as well as an ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines. The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively manage SLT diaries, resolving scheduling conflicts and ensuring timely alerts.
  • Provide confidential secretarial support to SLT members.
  • Organise travel, bookings, correspondence, and itineraries for SLT.
  • Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and calls, prioritizing and responding as needed.
  • Assist with document preparation, reports, presentations, and policies using MS Office.
  • Coordinate and support SLT meetings, including scheduling, note-taking, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update school website, intranet, and key documentation.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating school events, inspections, and parent meetings.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A good standard of education, including a high standard of written English, and the right to work in the UK
  • Significant previous experience of working as a PA or secretary in an educational environment
  • Experience of minute taking and producing agendas/minutes for meetings
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint), iSAMS, databases, email and internet
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft own correspondence with fluency and accuracy
  • Ability to proof read with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrable administrative, organisational/planning and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in respect of student and staff information, and to approach all confidential matters with discretion, sensitivity and diplomacy
  • An understanding of and sympathy with the School’s values and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life
  • Ability to relate to young people
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • The resilience, drive, strength of character and sense of both humour and perspective to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding and ambitious environment
