ROLE SUMMARY:
The Moraitis School is actively seeking a dedicated IT Administrator to oversee our School Information Management System (SIMS) and general IT operations. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our educational environment, as it encompasses the management of our school management platforms as well as common IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting academic processes and providing reliable IT solutions to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate closely with both academic and administrative departments to effectively address their data requirements and schedule coordination needs.
- Organise and deliver comprehensive training and ongoing support for users on the school's primary platforms to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist users in navigating and utilising various IT software and tools effectively.
- Maintain the SIMS to enhance both academic processes and the strategic objectives of the school's management team.
- Lead the implementation of new software features and modules to better serve the educational community.
- Prepare and oversee a reliable reporting system using iSams to inform decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across multiple platforms.
- Manage and administrate Windows clients using a central management system (Microsoft InTune) to streamline operations.
- Guarantee high availability for critical infrastructure services including telephony, networking, and data management.
- Monitor and manage the network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and access for all users.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Up to 5 years of previous experience in managing IT environment with knowledge of the educational environment and relevant platforms will be a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (IT Administration and Computing)
- Proven experience in SIMS management, data management and coordination, preferably in an educational context
- Basic technical skills on Network and Telephony systems
- Familiarity with management software and tools in IT environment such as Microsoft365, Azure EntraID and InTune, Cisco Meraki network
- Very good analytical, organizational, problem-solving abilities and projects management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and team
- Fluent English speaker
