ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School, Murcia is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Secondary History Teacher to join our Humanities Department from April on a temporary basis to cover a period of leave. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and rigorous History lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons across the secondary age range

Assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Contribute to curriculum planning within the Humanities team

Support students’ academic and personal development

Participate in meetings, parents’ evenings and school events
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Experience teaching History at secondary level

Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the English National Curriculum

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A collaborative and professional approach to teaching

Availability to take up a temporary role from April
