ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School, Murcia is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Science Teacher to join our Science Department from late August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Science teaching that inspires curiosity and supports strong academic outcomes within the English National Curriculum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across the secondary age range

Teach across at least one specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

Assess, track and report on student progress effectively

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Contribute to curriculum development within the Science Department

Participate in meetings, parents’ evenings and wider school life
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Experience teaching Science at secondary level

Strong subject knowledge in at least one Science discipline

Familiarity with the English National Curriculum

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A collaborative and professional approach to teaching
