ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College Murcia is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and inspiring Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our enthusiastic teaching team from late August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and committed to helping students develop strong analytical skills, confidence, and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject within a supportive and high-achieving school environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5, following the British curriculum.

Use a range of teaching strategies to support varying abilities and promote deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing meaningful feedback that supports improvement.

Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages participation and independent thinking.

Prepare students for internal assessments and public examinations, ensuring they are confident and well-supported.

Collaborate with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across the school to enhance curriculum provision.

Contribute to extracurricular activities, enrichment opportunities, and wider school initiatives.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a specialism in Mathematics.

Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level (KS3–KS4; KS5 experience advantageous).

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to convey mathematical concepts clearly and enthusiastically.

Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
