ROLE SUMMARY:
Our well-establisehd British international schools in the Alicante and Murcia region invite expressions of interest from experienced and ambitious Mathematics educators seeking a leadership opportunity within a high-performing academic environment.
These roles offer the chance to take on a senior leadership position within the Mathematics faculty, contributing to curriculum development, academic standards, and departmental strategy across the British curriculum. The successful candidates will work closely with senior leaders to further strengthen teaching and learning outcomes from Key Stage 3 through to IGCSE and A Level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide academic and strategic leadership within the Mathematics department

Support curriculum planning, assessment, and progression across KS3, IGCSE, and A Level

Promote high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement

Mentor and support Mathematics teaching staff, encouraging professional growth

Use data effectively to monitor performance and drive improvement

Contribute to whole-school initiatives and collaborative leadership practices
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified teacher with a degree in Mathematics or a related discipline

Strong experience teaching Mathematics within the British curriculum

Demonstrated leadership potential or experience within a department or key stage

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
