ROLE SUMMARY:

 

King's College School Murcia is seeking to appoint an outstanding Science Teacher to join our successful secondary department from late August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated students within a high-performing British international school environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Teach KS3 Science across the full ability range

  • Deliver iGCSE Science (preferably Chemistry or Biology)

  • Teach A Level Chemistry or Biology

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the British curriculum

  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support enrichment opportunities

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching KS3, iGCSE and A Level (Chemistry or Biology)

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science

  • A commitment to high academic standards and student wellbeing

  • The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive department
