ROLE SUMMARY:
St George's International School is seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher for its Junior School to implement and deliver a broad International Curriculum according to the age, aptitude and abilities of the pupils being taught, whilst maintaining the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside of the classroom at all times.
The successful candidate will be experienced in teaching a range of primary subjects including English (reading and writing), mathematics, science and humanities.
Teachers will contribute to constructive team building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and members of the board of directors. We are looking for an exceptional teacher who has at least 3+ years of experience teaching students aged 5–10 and who is committed to striving for excellence, continuous improvement, and inspiring and motivating students.
This is a fixed-term position (70%) to cover a long-term sickness absence. The initial duration is approximately 6 weeks; however, the contract may be extended depending on the employee’s return to work.

- Attend parent-teacher/guardian conferences as required by the school;
- Write reports as required by the school;
- Attend meetings as scheduled by the school;
- Attend meetings within the school's timetable;
- Cover classes if necessary in the absence of a member of staff;
- Act as a role model for students and as an ambassador for the school, in terms of behaviour and adherence to the school's dress code;
- Be a team player and build strong relationships with colleagues and parents;
