ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Substitue Teacher role to join us as soon as possible!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular teacher, following lesson plans and school curriculum standards.

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment adhering to AIM’s educational philosophy and behavioral expectations.

Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and adapt instruction as needed to keep students engaged and on task.

Manage classroom behavior effectively, using school policies and procedures to support a productive day of learning.

Take attendance and monitor student participation, reporting any concerns to school administration.

Ensure continuity of routines, transitions, and class culture to minimize disruption for students.

Communicate professionally with school staff and administrators about any issues or observations from the day.

Supervise students during non-classroom times as needed (e.g., recess, lunch, hallways).

Prepare and leave a brief daily report or summary for the regular teacher at the end of the assignment.

Support school policies and participate in required training, including safeguarding and professional standards.

Adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to work across grade levels and at short notice.

Basic instructional delivery skills, able to follow lesson plans and support student learning.
