AIM Campus Valle is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Substitute Homeroom Teacher for 4th Grade to join our team on a temporary basis from October through December 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring continuity of learning and providing a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment for students throughout the substitution period. Working closely with the academic and school leadership teams, the teacher will deliver the established curriculum, monitor student progress, and support students’ academic and personal development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take full responsibility for the 4th Grade homeroom during the substitution period, ensuring continuity and consistency in students’ learning.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school’s established curriculum, learning objectives, and academic expectations.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeing.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing appropriate feedback and identifying areas where additional support may be required.
• Adapt teaching strategies and classroom activities to meet different learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain clear classroom routines, expectations, and standards of student behavior.
• Collaborate closely with other teachers, academic coordinators, and school leadership to support curriculum delivery and student development.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding students’ progress, wellbeing, and relevant classroom matters.
• Participate in school meetings, activities, events, and other responsibilities associated with the homeroom teacher role.
• Follow all school policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and student wellbeing requirements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Pedagogy, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience at the elementary/primary level, ideally with upper elementary students.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to quickly integrate into an established classroom and ensure continuity of learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A student-centered approach and commitment to supporting both academic progress and student wellbeing.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching and academic team.
• Availability to work full-time at AIM Campus Valle from October through December 2026.
